Description
Park and check in Fr. Sheehys GAA Park. Bussed to start point at Bay Lough car park. Enjoy the sweeping views of the entire valley as the bus takes the hairpin bend at the Vee. Walk will be at a gentle pace with regular stops to admire the scenery and beauty of the Galty Vee Valley. This walk is ideal for those who have little walking experience as it is virtually downhill all the way to Clogheen. The route will take in Bay Lough and Loughglens bridge where the Rhododendrons will be at their most bountiful.
This walk is ideal for those with little or no trail walking experience.
Check out at Clogheen Community Hall with finger food afterwards while being entertained with music on stage.
