Join us on January 3rd for our Nollaig na mBan Walk in aid of the Archie Fund. Clogheen boy Archie English is currently undergoing treatment for Lymphoblastic Leukaemia.
The walk is a 7km loop taking in Shanrahan Forest around Clogheen. The trail takes in part of the Blackwater Way National Waymarked Trail as well as some of the Clogheen Loop trail and passes over the river Duag twice as well as passing the historic Shanrahan cemetery. The walk will conclude in the Market Stone Bar & Restaurant with a light lunch (vegetable soup and sandwiches). Boots optional for walk as most of the route is on hard surface so walking shoes/runners will suffice.
