After checking in at Clogheen Community Centre, you will be bussed to start point at Bay Lough. You will enjoy sweeping views of the entire valley on your journey there as the bus takes the hairpin bend at the Vee.
The walk will be at a gentle pace with regular stops to admire the scenery and beauty of the Galty Vee Valley. This walk is ideal for those who have little walking experience as it is virtually downhill all the way to Clogheen. The route will take in Bay Lough and Soldier’s Path where the Rhododendrons will be at their most bountiful.
This walk is ideal for those with little or no trail walking experience.
After checking back in at Clogheen Community Hall, you will enjoy a hot meal while being entertained with live music on stage.
